It was already loud about the shelter in Dyminy. Now another alarming message has arrived.
For several days, injured and sick cats were deprived of veterinary care. The volunteer took them to the doctor, but it was too late to save them
On Sunday, July 28, a volunteer helping mainly on weekends discovered a cat with a broken skull that was unable to move. There was a cat in another place after pelvic surgery. There was a bowl of water and food next to it, but he was also unable to move - says Ewa.
A volunteer intervened with the shelter's staff. The latter, in turn, probably called the vet, who advised that one of the cats should be wrapped in a blanket, as it may be cold. When that didn't help, Ewa took the suffering animals to one of the veterinary surgeries. - And here I found out that all cats are in a moribund state and euthanasia is necessary - he says. She adds that the doctor on duty suggested that they had not been treated before. When she came to the shelter shortly after the incident, its manager threatened to prosecute her for taking the animals to the vet. - But I wasn't scared. I believe that they deserved help - he emphasizes.
